Vacation Leave | Vacation Leave allows eligible employees to take time off work for the purpose of rest, relaxation and/or attend to personal matters. It can also be used in place of sick leave if you have exhausted that leave balance and your supervisor approves that usage. This leave must be requested in advance. Please check with your supervisor to determine your department requirements for how far in advance this request must be made. |
Personal Leave | Personal Leave allows eligible employees to take up to 4 days per fiscal year (charged against sick leave) for personal reasons. Since this leave comes out of your sick leave balance, you must have an equivalent available sick leave balance in order to use any personal leave hours. A leave request must be submitted for this leave as soon as possible. |

Sick Leave Pool | Sick Leave Pool provides leave for eligible employees who have exhausted all their accrued sick leave and need additional time off due to an accident or illness. Usage of these hours requires membership in the Pool and the completion of a form by your doctor. Please see the link to the policy for details. |
