Valid test scores will be received if test dates are less than two-years old at the time of term registration.

PERT (Postsecondary Education Readiness Test) Scores

Dual Enrollment Applicants- Valencia College will retrieve your PERT scores from your school district as soon as you have applied to the Dual Enrollment program. No action is needed from you for High School PERT scores. 

If you have taken the PERT with Valencia College, there is no action needed on your part to submit your PERT scores.

Valencia College will only accept valid PERT scores from previously enrolled institutions. You may fill out this PERT Score Retrieval Form to request scores to be retrieved from the PERT repository (include Full Name, VID# and where you took the PERT). Please Note: PERT scores are not available in the PERT Repository immediately after testing.

Send PERT scores to a different school: If you would like another Florida institution to receive your PERT scores, ask the receiving institution to retrieve your scores from the Florida PERT Repository. If your institution does not have access to the PERT Repository, please visit an assessment center to retrieve a copy of your scores.


ACCUPLACER CPT and Next-Generation Scores

If you have taken the ACCUPLACER in the past 2 years, please have the institution email us your scores, or from your ACCUPLACER student portal. and call us to ensure we have received them.

We will only accept the following ACCUPLACER tests:

Scores must be sent directly from the institution or from your ACCUPLACER student portal.

ACT/SAT Scores

If you have taken the ACT or SAT in the past two years and they are at college level, please have your scores sent to us electronically from CollegeBoard or ACT. No other forms will be accepted.

NOTE: SAT and ACT scores sent electronically take 2 weeks to receive and process. The turnaround time from test administration to institution may take an additional 2 weeks.

ACT scores can be sent electronically from your ACT account. Our school code is 0736.

SAT scores can be sent electronically from your CollegeBoard Account: http://sat.collegeboard.org/scores/. Our school code is 5869. 

**Please note, Valencia College cannot provide official scores for this test. All request must be done through CollegeBoard.


FCLE Scores

High school and transfer students - You must submit your high school or college transcripts to Valencia College for your FCLE scores to be reflected on your Valencia College Atlas account.

If you took the FCLE at another Florida institution but were never enrolled at that institution, you must fill out this FCLE Retrieval Form so your scores can be retrieved (include Full Name, VID# and where you took the FCLE). 

NOTE: You must have a composite score of 48 or higher to satisfy the graduation requirement. 

Valencia College will not accept FCLE scores via email.

 

TEAS Scores

NOTE: TEAS may be taken 3 times in a 12-month period; this includes tests taken at other institutions or with ATI Remote Proctoring. Number of attempts is calculated from the anniversary of your first attempt. You must wait 30 days to retake the TEAS.  Retakes may be taken on the 30th day after your prior attempt.

UPDATE: ATI TEAS scores are valid for two years for admission to Valencia Nursing and Health Sciences programs. Scores on record may be used for Valencia Nursing and Health Sciences programs admission criteria if test dates are less than two years old at the time of the application deadline starting with the Summer 2023 application deadline.

If you would like to transfer scores from tests taken at Valencia College, go to the ATI testing online store, click on TEAS/Discover Transcripts. You will be asked to fill out a form. The scores will be sent electronically.

Valencia College will accept your previous ATI TEAS scores from another institution. You may request your scores by going to ATI online stores. Please make sure your scores are sent to Valencia College (Valencia ADN). Please see TEAS transcript process.

BAT Exam Scores

If you took the BAT after August 14, 2019, you can print your score report from your Pearson VUE account.  If you are unable to view your scores for any reason in your Pearson VUE account, you should contact the Pearson VUE candidate support line at 877-242-1697. 


CLEP Scores

If you plan to attend another college or university, your CLEP scores do not transfer automatically with your Valencia College transcript. You will need to send your CLEP scores in addition to your Valencia College transcript. In order to send additional transcripts, visit the CLEP transcript portal in CollegeBoard.

**Please note the following:

  • Valencia College cannot provide official scores for this test. All request must be done through CollegeBoard.
  • Valencia College will ONLY accept CLEP transcripts through CollegeBoard.

CLEP Score Processing: It takes up to 4 weeks to receive and process official CLEP score reports. Once your official CLEP score report is processed, the class(es) awarded will be displayed on your degree audit in Atlas. For questions or clarifications regarding CLEP score inputting, contact records_graduation@valenciacollege.edu.


CLAST Scores

Teacher certification candidates, who wish to submit CLAST scores to the  Bureau of Educator Certification, will need to obtain an official score report that display their CLAST scores.

  • If the teacher certification candidate took the CLAST prior to July 1, 2002, then the Florida Teacher Certification Examination (FTCE) testing contractor, ES Pearson, will have their CLAST scores on file and can produce a duplicate score report, which will be accepted by the Bureau of Educator Certification. Instructions from ES Pearson for obtaining a duplicate score report.
  • If an individual took the CLAST before July 1, 2002, but did not pass the subtest(s) until after July 1, 2002, the passing score will not be on file and is not eligible for teacher certification purposes.
  • If an individual's CLAST scores are listed on their transcript as a 999(99), 998(98), 997(97), or 996(96), then the individual was exempted from taking the CLAST and, therefore, does not have passing scores.

Foreign Language Achievement Testing Service (FLATS) through Brigham Young University (BYU)

FLATS allows students to satisfy the foreign language proficiency requirement. Students must receive a pass grade for the following three course equivalency examinations:

  • 101-First Semester Conversation & Grammar
  • 102- Second-semester Conversation and Grammar
  • 201- Intermediate Grammar

*FLATS does not offer credit for courses
