Mission Statement

Valencia College Testing and Assessment Centers serve to inform students, faculty, staff and the community about testing services and help guide students in making informed educational decisions. Our centers strive to provide a secure and conducive environment to support an optimal testing experience during placement testing and course testing throughout a student’s educational journey. Testing and Assessment Centers adhere to the Professional Standards and Guidelines set forth by the National College Testing Association (NCTA) and maintain active involvement in the Florida Association of College Test Administrators (FACTA).



The ACCUPLACER ESL (LOEP) is designed to assess your English proficiency if you have learned English as an additional language to your native language.

Advanced Algebra and Functions(AAF)

The AAF is used to determine if a student is ready for a higher level math such as Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus etc.


The Criminal Justice Basic Abilities Test (CJBAT) is an entry-level exam used by law enforcement agencies in Florida.


The CLEP is a series of standardized tests that helps you receive college credit for what you already know, for a fraction of the cost of a college course.


The PERT is an entry-level placement test required of all degree seeking students in the Florida College System (FCS) according to Florida Statutes. This test will determine your initial placement in English, reading and mathematics courses.


The TEAS is designed specifically to assess a student's preparedness entering the health science fields.
